书籍简介

该系列丛书是华东师范大学出版社由商务印书馆（香港）全新引进的英语阅读类书籍，该系列有六个级别组成，Level 1适合四、五、六年级的学生使用，Level 2适合七年级的学生使用，Level 3适合八年级的学生使用，Level 4适合九年级的学生使用，Level 5，Level 6适合高中生及大学生使用。

本系列丛书可分为以下六类：智慧侦探故事、经典现代科幻、彩色文学名著、幽默童话故事、异域开发探险、神秘鬼魅传奇。该系列丛书有以下特点：图文并茂、语言地道、录音清晰、声情并茂、选材经典、难易适中、听说读写、面面俱到。

正如教育部《英语课程标准》专家组组长在本丛书序中谈到的那样，“一套供青少年和英语爱好者阅读的丛书，应满足三个要求：Read for pleasure; Read for information; Read for language improvement. 《Black Cat 有声名著阶梯阅读》丛书满足了以上要求而有余。”
